Payment Methods

Metrognome accepts several payment methods to give you flexibility at checkout.

Accepted Payment Methods

Credit & Debit Cards

We accept major credit and debit cards:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

Card payments are processed instantly and work great for one-time bookings.

Bank Transfers (ACH)

For US bank accounts, you can pay directly from your checking or savings account. ACH transfers typically have lower processing fees than cards, making them a good choice for recurring payments or larger amounts.

Bank transfers take 3-5 business days to process. Your booking is confirmed once the transfer completes.

Prepaid Credits

You can also pay using prepaid credits you've purchased in advance. Credits give you a 10% discount on hourly bookings. Learn more in our Prepaid Credits guide.

Managing Your Payment Methods

Payment methods are managed through the Stripe Customer Portal, our secure payment partner.

Accessing the Portal

  1. Click your account name in the sidebar
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. You'll be taken to the Stripe Customer Portal

In the Stripe Portal, You Can:

  • Add a new card — Click "Add payment method" and enter your card details
  • Add a bank account — Set up ACH transfers for lower fees
  • Update card details — Change expiration dates or billing addresses
  • Set a default payment method — Choose which card is used automatically at checkout
  • Remove a payment method — Delete cards you no longer use

You cannot remove a payment method that's currently being used for an active subscription.

Payment Security

All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. Your payment information is encrypted and secure.
