Need more space? Want to move to a different location? You can transfer your lockout to a different studio.
When to Consider a Transfer
Common reasons members request a studio change:
- More space — Your setup has grown and you need a larger room
- Less space — You want to downsize and save money
- Different location — Another location is more convenient for you
- Different amenities — Another studio has features you need
How to Request a Transfer
Studio transfers require staff coordination to manage availability and logistics. To request a transfer, contact our team at support@metrognome.com.
Let us know:
- Your preferred new studio size and/or location
- Your timeline or any scheduling preferences
- Any other details that would help us find the right fit
Our team will check availability and get back to you within 1-2 business days.
What Happens to Your Pricing
When you transfer to a different studio, your monthly rate adjusts to match the new space.
Upgrading to a Larger Studio
If you move to a bigger (more expensive) studio:
- Your new rate takes effect immediately
- You'll be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of your current billing period
- Future months bill at the new higher rate
Downgrading to a Smaller Studio
If you move to a smaller (less expensive) studio:
- Your new rate takes effect at the start of your next billing period
- You keep access to your current studio until then
- No pro-rated refunds for the current period
Pro-Rated Billing Example
Let's say you upgrade mid-cycle with 20 days remaining in your billing period. You'd pay the difference between your current and new rate, pro-rated for those remaining days.
What to Expect After Approval
Once your transfer is approved:
- You'll receive confirmation with your new studio details
- For upgrades, you can move in right away
- For downgrades, you have until your next billing date to move
- Your access code may change—check your email for updates
