Browse Locations

Metrognome has studio locations across the country. The locations page makes it easy to explore, compare, and book studios near you.

The Map View

The locations page shows an interactive map alongside a scrollable list of studios. On desktop, the list appears in a sidebar; on mobile, it appears in a draggable drawer you can expand by swiping up.

Map Features

  • Markers — Each location has a colored marker showing availability and pricing
  • Clusters — When zoomed out, nearby locations group together showing a count
  • Selection — Click any marker to see location details; the marker enlarges when selected

Locations display badges to help you identify what's available:

  • NEW — Recently opened locations (shown in green)
  • COMING SOON — Upcoming locations not yet accepting bookings (shown in yellow)

Finding Your Studio

  1. Use the City filter to narrow down to your area
  2. Filter by Hourly or Monthly based on what you need
  3. Click a location in the list or on the map to see more details
  4. The map automatically pans to show your selection

Sharing a Map View

When you pan or zoom the map, the URL updates to save your view. Copy the URL from your browser to:

  • Share a specific area with a friend
  • Bookmark your favorite neighborhood
  • Send someone directions to a cluster of locations

Anyone who opens the link sees the map centered exactly where you were looking.

Location Cards

Each location in the list shows:

  • Name and neighborhood — Where the studio is located
  • Availability — How many studios are open (e.g., "4 Open" or "Full")
  • Pricing — Hourly and monthly rates at a glance
  • Photos — Preview images of the space

Click anywhere on a card to select that location and see the full detail panel.

Location Details

When you select a location, you'll see:

  • Photos — Click any image to open it full-screen
  • Address — Click to open Google Maps directions
  • Contact — Phone, email, and website
  • Description — About the facility

Quick Actions

The detail panel includes action buttons:

Button What It Does
Tour Request a tour of the facility
Waitlist Join the waitlist (when studios are full)
View See the full location page with all studios
Book Hourly Jump straight to hourly booking

Mobile Experience

On your phone, the locations page uses a pull-up drawer:

  1. Collapsed — See the map with a peek at the list below
  2. Expanded — Swipe up to see more locations in the list
  3. Full screen — Swipe all the way up to browse the full list

When you tap a location on the map, the drawer automatically expands to show its details.

Location Status

Locations display their current status:

Status What It Means
Open Accepting bookings and ready for sessions
Coming Soon Not yet open, but you can preview the space
Full All studios currently occupied—join the waitlist

Tips for Choosing

  • Use the map — Find studios close to you or in convenient neighborhoods
  • Check availability — Locations marked "Full" are waitlist-only for monthly
  • Compare pricing — Cards show both hourly and monthly rates
  • Look for NEW badges — Recently opened locations may have more availability
