Your First Hourly Session

Ready to book a studio by the hour? Here's a quick walkthrough.

Step 1: Find a Space

From the Metrognome homepage:

  1. Choose your location from the dropdown
  2. Select the date you want to book
  3. Browse available spaces

You'll see a list of rooms with photos, equipment details, and hourly rates.

Step 2: Pick Your Time

  1. Click on a space to see its full schedule
  2. Available time slots appear in green
  3. Click a starting time, then select how long you need (minimum 1 hour)
  4. Click Continue

Step 3: Review & Pay

You'll see a summary of your booking:

  • Room name and location
  • Date and time
  • Total cost

If everything looks good:

  1. Add any notes (like "bringing extra gear") if needed
  2. Confirm your payment method
  3. Click Book Now

What Happens Next

After booking, you'll receive:

  • Confirmation email — Your booking details and receipt
  • Access information — Door codes or check-in instructions, sent closer to your session
  • Reminder — A notification before your booking starts

At Your Session

  1. Arrive a few minutes early
  2. Use the access code from your email to enter
  3. The room is yours for your booked time
  4. Leave the space as you found it when you're done

Tips for Your First Visit

  • Check the equipment list — Know what's provided so you only bring what you need
  • Save the support number — It's in your confirmation email if you have access issues
  • Allow setup time — Book a little extra time if you need to set up or tear down
